Aviation

The situation in the aviation industry is dependent on the demand for passenger aircrafts and on orders placed by the defence sector. We are seeing a decrease in military spending, especially in Europe. We are dealing with an increasing production of commercial aircrafts due to rising demand for holiday and business trips. The aviation industry is optimistic regarding the future. Airbus and Boeing analysts predict that the world’s air transport will grow by 5 percent per year until 2030. Of course, there are risks that may upset the plans of the airline industry. They are related to the economic growth perspectives, fuel prices as well as terrorism threat. The aviation industry fears also price increases of carbon dioxide emission rights. Experts believe that should this risk crystalize the ticket prices would rise and the number of passengers traveling by air would drop. However, in general the moods are good, more and more cities build airports and carriers introduce new connections into their offers (both international and domestic).
